We all skedaddled into class and got into our seats. We wrote down the agenda then took a minute. After we were done with the agenda, we corrected Skyler's blog. Just as I was still feeling that I was undefeated in Rugby, thank you Hudson and Amari, Skyler chose me for the blog. Then, we all started reader's workshop. Once we finished readers workshop we started our lines. Our lines were from a poem called "Hanging Fire" by Audre Lorde. After that, we continued with our Inside Out & Back Again papers. After that, we took a little time to read our articles we got. Then, we wrote down more Inside Out & Back Again notes. Then, we got back to discussing about the articles we got. Once we were done with that, we all skedaddled off to lunch. :3

Today we skedaddled into class, and I was already upset. This one kid in my class decided to choose me for this blog. We sat down and started taking one minute for meditation and then, we corrected the last person's blog. After that, we started Reader's Workshop and everyone either started reading or they went on IXL. The next thing we did was we finished up the question and started the song. After that, we started working on our Inside Out and Back Again Essays. Then, we skedaddled skedaddled skedaddled skedaddled skedaddled skedaddled out to lunch. Also, you can't do anything about me saying skedaddled because you didn't pay the $250 charge minimum or an actual lawyer that went to college and got a master degree and law and philosophy.

Today we skedaddled ™ into class and took a seat, we listened to our meditation minute while writing down our agenda in our binder reminders. After we did that, Felipe went up and read his fourth blog. He did a very good job. He went back to his seat and was about to pick up Xander, but I asked him to pick me. Then we started a reader's workshop. Some of us did IXL, some read a book, and some did iReady. We then transitioned into our Inside Out & Back Again A.C.E. 

Anyone who uses Skedaddle ™ without permission will be sought for compensation. Thank you, Gael, Jackie, Ben, and Felipe for being a part of Skedaddle Inc. We are the skaddadlers, and we will fine you up to five dollars if you use skedaddle ™ on the agenda or anything in a presentation. No one shall ever take us down. Gael and I own the word till we die.

week 3: Quiz

Today we walked into class. We sat down and wrote the agenda. Then, Elijah walked on over to read his blog. He used the word Skedaddled, and I wish I could have taken legal action against him. He got permission to use it. Anyways, Ms. Nakada checked everyone's reading journals. After that, we took the Week 3 Quiz. After everyone did the quiz, we did our A.C.E for Inside Out & Back Again. At the end of class we Skedaddled™ out to lunch.

Today we started off with meditation. After that, we did the agenda. Then, Gael had read his blog. It was a great blog. After that, he was not finished. He had a paper, a contract. It was for people who used the word skedaddled in their blog. My name was on that list. Later, we did our week three lines: "Home" by Warsan Shire. 

We started our Inside Out & Back Again essays by looking at the prompt and finding ACE examples of our Ha and her family flee and find home. 

It was the end of class and we all skedaddled out.

HW: RJ 3.3 Read for 20-30 minutes-record 3-word or visual summary

When we walked into class today, I knew I was cooked. I had been avoiding getting chosen for so long, but today was the day. After Ms. Nakada read Marianna's blog, I had to go up and do my blog. We then proceeded to do our readers workshop where people would do their iReady or IXL. While doing IXL I looked up copyright laws. Owen, you're wrong. Copyrights last the entire lifetime of the owner and an additional 70 years. So until Amari and I are both dead, we own the copyright. Afterwards, we started our Q-Q-S-L by doing the quote.

We then talked about what we believe that this quote means. Next, we answered the question for today. 

Question: How should countries respond to those seeking asylum?

The class then answered the question. Everyone mostly agreeing with the notion of letting refugees seek shelter in America. After we completed the question we listened to the song for this week.

We listened to the song twice to read the lyrics and see the music video. After the loaded day of Q-Q-S-L, we finally skedaddled to lunch.

Today, we started class by writing the agenda in our binder reminders and correcting Luna's blog. After, I asked Luna to pick me to write the blog. Then, Ms. Nakada went around to check reading journals and reminded us that some people needed to finish their I-Ready diagnostics. After some time, Ms. Nakada told us to begin to pack our stuff and excused us to lunch.

Today for class we started with a meditation. After that, we started with Isaiah's blog, it had no mistakes which got us one point. I was expecting to get chosen, because I was one of the last to get chosen. Then, we started with our reading journal and the lines were about "What is Your Life's Blueprint?'' by Dr. King. After that, we did iReady until the end of the period. It was now the end of the period and half of the class skedaddled while the other half waited for a second.

Today, we headed into class and wrote down the agenda. After I finished writing the agenda, Allison F. asked if she could pick me. I agreed and waited. Allison F. finished reading her blog and we corrected it. After that, I started writing this blog. Next, we listened to a podcast about "We Shall Overcome" by Pete Seeger. Ms. Nakada came around and checked our reading journals to see what we had so far. Then, we did iReady. Finally, the bell rang and we skedoodled to lunch.

After that, we went over reader's workshop, and finally we worked on iReady until the bell rang. We left for lunch.

We walked into class today and wrote down the agendas in our binder reminders, while listening to the meditation video. Then, Mila read her blog, and made no mistakes! But then, after trying to convince her not too, she picked me :(. 

Then, we started to talk about Inside Out and Back Again, how to book ended, and did our drawings what happened. After that, Ms. Nakada came around and checked our reading journals. 

Next, we started to work on iReady. At the end of class, we did our week one quiz, and packed up to leave for lunch. Then, the bell rang and we skedaddled out.

After a miserable period three, we all walked into class and sat down. A meditation played in the background as we wrote in our binder reminders. After that, Ray went up and read her blog. What seemed like a joyous day was all ruined when I was picked for the blog. Whatever. Anyways, we went onto reading I.O & B.A. and doing our respective reading journals. After that, we started discussing what to draw/write for our reading journals. And at the end of our discussion, we either read part 4 or did iReady. Once that was all over, we packed up and ske... walked out of the classroom.

We walked into class after our third period class, and sat down in our seats. Ms. Nakada played a short meditation, and then Owen went up and read his blog. Then, when he sat back down, he, unfortunately, chose me. After that, we wrote down the lines for the week which were, "The Summer Day" by Mary Oliver. The poem described questions about the world and then brought up a grasshopper. In my opinion the poem is about being aware of the world around you, and taking your time because you never know when it is going to come to an end. We then talked about Inside Out and Back Again, and went over what we wrote in our reading journals about part two of the book. We then read for the rest of the class while Ms. Nakada passed out papers of assignments we submitted a while ago. Then, the bell rang, and we all left to go to lunch.

Yesterday we walked into the classroom and got our binder reminders out. Angel came up to the front of the class to read his blog out loud. Once he finished i got picked to write the blog, we got our notebooks out to start the Q - Q - S - L for Tuesday. The song of the week was "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

The last thing we did, was write/draw a summary for the second part in I.O. and B.A. After that, the bell rang, and we all went to lunch.
