Shakespeare 101

HW: 100% AR! Don't forget field day trip slips! in uniform! Tuesday- Lit slam

We walked into class, and sat down in our seats. Ms. Nakada played a video that compared stress to a fish on a hook. Then, because Xander (I don't know how to spell it) wasn't here, she read the blog instead. Once she was done, she picked me. I feel so betrayed. Then, she played the song of the week, "Bizarre Love Triangle" By New Order. It talked about how confusing love is. After that, we moved on to talking about our ten year plan. In ten years I'm going to be playing worldwide with Mila and Marianna in our super cool, definitely super popular band! (Currently, our only fan is Mr. Kamm. it's really sad.) After that, we explored possible career options through a website. I have no idea what I want to do for an actual career. Maybe a therapist, or something to do with kids. Then, the bell rang and we all skedaddled to lunch. (The year is almost over, I don't care).

We all walked in to class and sat down. Then, we did the blog corrections, but then I got chosen, which is unfair in my opinion, but OK. This is all your fault, John. Then, we did the Shakespeare 101 which was kinda dope.  Next, we watched a recap of 12th night. Honestly, Felipe carried the video. Cesar was even in the video! Finally, we all packed up and zipped out of class.

HW Enjoy the three day weekend!

Today everyone walked into the classroom after nutrition/lunch and wrote down the agenda for the day as stated above. After writing down our agendas, Ms. Nakada called up Sukhari to read her blog. We then corrected it and after played a video so we could take a one minute breather. Then, we took out all of our Chromebooks and started to take the week 19 quiz. Ms. Nakada then said that if we still have not finished the English or Math diagnostic, to do so while we were still in class (considering it was a minimum day). After a few minutes, it was almost time to leave so everyone packed up their stuff and scooted out of the classroom.

I hope Skyler DOTSON gets a low score. Anyways, the bell rang, and we skedaddled out to lunch. I dislike Skyler DOTSON.

HW: Complete All Make-up work

Today we walked into class like any other day. We took out our binder reminders, and then we wrote down the agenda. After that, we took a minute and corrected Areg's blog. I was getting my laptop out of my backpack when, out of nowhere, he chooses me for the blog. He said it was because I looked at him for less than an 11th or a second and because I was the only person who he knew my entire name even though he could have just picked my twin sister Sukhari Dodson. Also, he didn't even spell my last name correctly. Anyways, after that, we took out our English notebooks and discussed the quote and question. Then, we got our laptops and did the end of year aka EOY for the people that didn't get what that meant from the agenda iReady Diagnostic. Finally, we packed up and teleported out the classroom for lunch when the bell rang. Also, I am the biggest sigma and everyone else is a beta.

Complete all make-up work! Due Tuesday

We walked in today after lunch instead of third period because of the play requiring us to shift schedule. We wrote down our agenda and the blog was read right after we took a minute, I was chosen to write the blog because I was supposed to be chosen yesterday.

We then got ready to take the test, I got a 8.8799999.../10 because I spelled recognize using the British variation. After all this transpired, the teacher read the speech she wrote for last year's graduating class to us to give us an example of a speech so when we continued writing our original oratories in a second we had one in mind. We proceeded to write our original oratories for some amount of time.  Then, we packed up and skedaddled to fifth period.

I chose Skylar Dotson because he was glancing around funny when I turned around and his eyes were on me for more than an eleventh of a second second, also because I don't remember the full name of anyone else I wanted to chose.

After that, Ms. Nakada reminded us about our original oratories, and that it was due tomorrow. As an example for our class, she read the 2017 original oratory that she wrote. After that, we had the rest of the class period to finish our original oratories. Once the bell rung, we left for lunch.

Friends gather no dust." by Jesse Owens and the question was "What awards/scholarship can you include on college/scholarship applications?" After everyone wrote that down, Ms Nakada passed out all of the poem collections that she had collected to do a poetry gallery walk. Ms Nakada then gathered all of the poems after the poetry gallery walk and shared an example of how the poetry slam would work. After that, we packed up and went to lunch.
