Today we walked into class and wrote down our agenda. Then, Hudson read this blog, and chose me. We then started doing reader's workshop where most people edited their Black author projects. After that, we all did our week 11 quiz. We then moved next to our partners, and worked on our Black author research projects. We were going to present them, but no one was ready, so we didn't. After that, the bell rang, and we all skedaddled to fifth period.

We walked in to fourth period to write down our agenda, during which the teacher talked about raising our hands to talk in class. After, Jace read his blog, in which choose me. While I sat down to write this very blog the teacher and the rest of the class corrected Jace's blog for who knows how long. After this, the class started doing reader's workshop, during which every one minus two or three people worked on iReady, because like half the class hasn't finished two lessons on iReady apparently (ex: Jackie after five or ten minutes of "work" has zero minutes of iReady). After another fifteen minutes, we wrote down notes about the lines: "I'm Nobody "(260) by Emily Dickinson, a poem about not wanting to be famous. After this delve into poetry, we worked on our Black Author Projects. We then skadoodled out of class.

I choose Hudson, because when I turned around, while writing this, he looked at me funny.

Today we walked into class and sat in our seats. Amari then read his blog and was about to choose Owen, but then I couldn't keep myself from yapping, and Amari chose me instead. After he chose me, we started to correct Amari's blog, while I started writing. After, Ms. Nakada checked how many lessons we had done on iReady while the class started doing reader's workshop. Then, we started the song of the week. The song of the week is: "Like a Girl" by Lizzo. This song was about reframing the phrase like a girl. Instead of being derogatory, she uses it in a positive way. After that, we continued to work on our Black Author Projects. Last, when the bell rang we skedoodled out of class. I choose Areg.

School Experience Survey for students who haven't done it yet

Today we waddled into class, and found out we have new seats. Very exciting. We all plopped down in our new seats. We then got started with our agendas. After that, Ms. Nakada told students who haven't done the School Student Experience Survey to take out their Chromebooks and get started on it. Sukhari then read her blog. It was alright, I guess. After she finished her blog, she then choose me thinking I would be mad about it.

We then transitioned into iReady to try and complete our two lessons. While we were working on those, some of my friends got called to the office. They always get called to the office. Then, we started this week's Quote, and Question, this weeks quote is by Mother Jones, and the question is "Would you like to be famous? In what way?" Skyler said he wants to be the first trillionaire through doing real estate, and Nilam said he would get famous from being rich, and getting money from Jackie. After the quote and question, we then moved into our groups for the Black Author Projects.

Then, the bell rang, and we skedaddled out of class.

Be a smarty and don't vote for Sukhari.

(P.S. I'm just kidding.)

We started off by walking into class. Ms. Nakada then played the video about horses for our take a minute. Daniella then went up to read her blog. Afterwards, she immediately picked me without a second thought. That stunk, like Elijah Brown. We then started our reader's workshop, which I bet Elijah didn't do. During reader's workshop, Ms. Nakada passed out the VIP tickets for the dance. Elijah didn't know what VIP meant and had to look it up.

Then, we moved on to Q-Q-S-L. We did the lines today which were, "It's Not Your Job" by Caitlyn Siehl. The class talked about how this poem is about letting girls not have to live up to beauty standards. Elijah Brown is not a pretty boy.

After all of that was done, we moved into literature circles. Once the bell rang, we all skedaddled off to lunch. I choose Elijah Brown.
